This scrap is Ti 64 scrap. 64 scrap is called 'Ti-6Al-4V', '6Al4V'. It is a nominal aluminum 6% (regulation 5.5-6.75%), vanadium 4% (regulation 3.5-4.5%) titanium alloy. 64 is the most famous titanium material alloy other than pure titanium.

It is most commonly used in aviation, structural, medical, etc. because it has strength characteristics, machinability, weldability, and can withstand high temperatures to a certain extent, and its tensile strength is about twice as good as pure titanium, so it has the advantage of being applied in various fields. Therefore, 64 scrap can always get a good price, and we are always buying scrap generated by parts manufacturers and processing companies.
