Recycling and Utilization of Scrap Iron

We actively purchase scrap iron, which is commonly generated from milling machines and CNC machine tools. These metal scraps are recycled through our specialized process and supplied to domestic steelmakers and foundries.

With our advanced compression equipment, we can convert these scraps into briquettes. These briquetted products can then be melted in a Vacuum Induction Melting (VIM) furnace or vacuum furnace and used for alloying.

Alloyed iron, with its lower melting point, is preferred because it melts at lower temperatures and distributes uniformly in the molten metal.


The Use of Titanium in Alloying

Titanium is commonly added to alloys in the form of titanium sponge. This material contains up to 99.8% titanium with minimal impurities, such as iron, oxygen, and carbon. In its ingot form, titanium is widely used in the production of aircraft parts, medical implants, and other components that require high strength, durability, and biocompatibility.

Compressed titanium in puck form is highly desirable due to its high density, which increases the fill rate, and its uniform weight, maximizing usability. As a result, there is significant demand from international markets for titanium sponges in compressed forms, such as briquettes.


Super Alloys and Heat-Resistant Alloys

Titanium-containing steel grades typically include 0.5% to 5.0% titanium. These alloys fall under the categories of super alloys, specialty alloys, and super heat-resistant alloys. They are globally manufactured due to their essential applications in industries like gas turbines and aviation.

To produce these alloys, raw materials are prepared and melted according to precise alloy ratios. Titanium sponge is a crucial raw material for achieving the required titanium composition.
