| Inconel 718 Turning |
Dong-A Special Metals Co., Ltd continues to lead the way in metal recycling. We actively purchase pig iron scrap generated from CNC and milling machines. These scraps are efficiently recycled and supplied to domestic steelmakers and foundries, contributing to sustainable steel production.
Recycling Inconel 625 and 718 Scraps for Aerospace and Defense
Global interest in aerospace, space, and defense sectors has increased the generation of high-value scraps such as Inconel 625 and Inconel 718. These alloys, commonly used in aviation and defense components, are often exported. However, Dong-A Special Metals encourages domestic recycling of these valuable materials. We possess the necessary technology to recycle these scraps into reusable raw materials.
Processing Oily Iron Turnings and Powdered Scrap
Iron turnings and oily scrap are processed cleanly using a dry method. This ensures safe handling and high-quality output. Mixed oily chips are sorted, shredded, and de-oiled before being compressed or supplied as chips to foundries. Our compression equipment enables us to form bricketed scrap, which can be melted in vacuum induction melting (VIM) furnaces.
Titanium Sponge Substitutes and Bricketed Pucks
Titanium scrap is also processed into compressed pucks or bricketed forms. These are high-density, uniform-weight products ideal for steelmaking. With consistent shape and enhanced filling rates, titanium pucks are gaining popularity in domestic and international markets. These compressed titanium forms help reduce raw material costs while promoting a circular economy.
Recycling for High-Performance Alloy Steel Production
Steelmakers rely on recycled scrap to produce alloy steels, which require precise element compositions. Recycled scrap supports deoxidization, dehydration, and alloy enhancement. We prepare these materials based on required alloy ratios, and for titanium content, we offer titanium sponge substitutes in efficient puck form.
Dong-A Special Metals supplies recycled materials to leading industries in Korea and abroad. We welcome inquiries from manufacturers seeking to recycle and reuse high-value scrap.
