Ti-15Mo

Ti-15Mo is a high-performance titanium alloy containing approximately 15% molybdenum (Mo). This β-phase alloy is engineered for superior corrosion resistance, biocompatibility, and machinability, even at elevated temperatures. Due to these properties, Ti-15Mo is gaining attention in the medical, aerospace, and precision engineering sectors.


Excellent Mechanical and Structural Properties

Ti-15Mo exhibits remarkable mechanical strength with:

- Tensile strength: 700–900 MPa

- Yield strength: >600 MPa

- Elongation: 10–15%

- Elastic modulus: 65–80 GPa

This lower modulus of elasticity allows the material to absorb mechanical shock more effectively than traditional titanium alloys. Its elasticity is similar to human bone, reducing stress shielding in biomedical implants.
