Titanium Grade 17 is a commercially pure titanium alloy that stands out due to the addition of a small amount of palladium (Pd). Though chemically similar to Grade 2, this trace addition of Pd—typically 0.04 to 0.08%—significantly boosts its resistance to corrosion, particularly in harsh and chloride-rich environments.
