Key Properties of Inconel 939

The greatest strength of Inconel 939 lies in its outstanding creep resistance and oxidation resistance. It prevents deformation in components exposed to high temperatures for long periods and protects surfaces from reactions with oxygen and combustion gases.

A high concentration of gamma prime precipitates (γ′ phase) maintains structural stability and suppresses microcrack formation caused by thermal fatigue.

The addition of hafnium and tantalum enhances microstructural strength, ensuring long-term durability under extreme operating conditions.
