Rene 95 Powder

Rene 95 is a high-performance nickel-based superalloy manufactured using powder metallurgy (PM) techniques. It was developed to provide exceptional mechanical strength and heat resistance at extreme temperatures. This alloy is widely used in the aerospace industry by major manufacturers such as GE to enhance the durability and performance of turbine disks, blades, and other high-temperature components.

Rene 95 exhibits superior yield strength, creep resistance, and fatigue life compared to traditional nickel alloys. It remains mechanically stable at temperatures above 650°C, making it suitable for high-load, high-speed rotation environments such as aircraft turbines and gas generators.

Despite its performance, Rene 95 is difficult to machine and requires precise heat treatment control to achieve optimal performance. As its industrial demand increases, recycling technologies such as Electron Beam Melting (EBM) are being developed to extract and refine the alloy efficiently.

The continued evolution of recycling infrastructure will be key to meeting carbon neutrality goals, securing strategic material independence, and reducing dependence on imports.
