What Is F75 Alloy?

F75 is a cast cobalt-based alloy standardized under ASTM F75 and ISO 5832-4, specifically engineered for orthopedic implants, dental applications, and cardiac devices. Its chemical composition primarily includes cobalt (Co), chromium (Cr), and molybdenum (Mo):

- Cobalt provides high mechanical strength and structural stability.

- Chromium forms a passive oxide layer for superior corrosion resistance.
